Kevin Hamm
October 22, 2021
Kevin Eric Hamm, 43, passed away October 22, 2021, at Methodist Hospital surrounded by his loving family.
Kevin was born April 28, 1978, in Charles City, Iowa to Alan Tracy Hamm and Patricia (Simpson) Parmenter. He met the love of his life, Rhonda (Rennenger), in 2005. They later married and had two beautiful children, Evan Diesel and Stella.
Kevin attended East High School and soon after graduating became a member of the Plumbers and Steamfitters Local 33 where he dedicated the next 23 years to his welding career. He also taught welding classes to Waldinger apprentices.
He enjoyed golfing, fishing, traveling, rebuilding his 1964 Chevelle, coaching Diesel’s sporting events, and dancing with Stella. He loved family movie nights, making homemade popcorn, and campouts in the living room on the air mattress. Kevin will be remembered as the life of the party, and someone who always enjoyed being surrounded by friends. He told the best stories bringing laughter into every conversation. His charisma and energy filled every room he entered, and Kevin knew no strangers. He offered a helping hand to anyone in need. Above all, he was the most loving spouse and dedicated father.
Kevin is survived by his wife, Rhonda Hamm; children, Evan Diesel and Stella; father, Alan Tracy Hamm; mother, Patricia Parmenter; brother, Michael Hamm; uncles, James (Kim) Weigel and Larry Simpson; numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins; and a host of extended family and friends.
He was preceded in death by his grandparents.
A celebration of life will be held at a later date.

I am shocked and saddened to learn of Kevin passing. I enjoyed our occasional time working together visiting about family, life, work, and hobbies. We just clicked and got along so well. It was always fun. We spoke regularly about his grandfather who lived in the area. I will miss our visits, his smile and his laugh. I am so sorry for your loss. May God bless you with comfort and peace. .

I got the pleasure of delivering supplies to him at work for the last couple of years. He was always fun to talk to, always in a good mood and a super nice guy. I really enjoyed getting to know him a little bit. The world lost a good one.

I had the Pleasure in Meeting Kevin, when he became friends with my Children Mendy and Jesse Freeman. When living on Fremont. He sure had a Smile that you wouldn't forget. After they got a little older. Didn't get to see him much. Seen him and his Wife some time back at a Restaurant. Still had that Smile. My heart goes out to the Family Friends, Love one's.
