Ezekiel James Steltzer

Ezekiel James Steltzer, age 4, was born June 28, 2017 in Des Moines, Iowa to Cody and Chelsea Steltzer. He loved watching Disney movies, and Hercules was his favorite. He enjoyed car rides, listening to music, and especially snuggles. Zeke will always be remembered for doing things his own way, and in his own time. He defied the odds against him time and time again. He truly was a special gift to our family.

Ezekiel passed away peacefully on Saturday, October 23, 2021 at home with his family. He will be forever loved and missed by his mommy and daddy, Chelsea and Cody; his siblings, Nevaeh, Piper, Gabriel and Cordelia; his Grandma Deanna, Grandpa Kelly, Nana Kristy, Grandpa Charlie, Grandma and Grandpa Palmer, Oma Diane, Opa Dan, and Great-Grandpa Snapp; his aunts and uncles, Cass, Mitch, Carrie, Ricky and Helene; his special cousins, Josh, Terry and Draven; and so many other loving family and friends.

He was preceded in death by his siblings, Uriel, Finley, Rowyn and Kiran; Uncle Joe, Uncle Frank and Uncle Mark; Great Grandpa Art, Great Grandma Bea, Great Grandma Snapp and Great Grandma and Grandpa Steltzer.

There will be a celebration of life at Hamilton’s on Westown Parkway (3601 Westown Pkwy, West Des Moines) from 5:00 to 8:00 p.m. on Friday, November 12, 2021.

In lieu of flowers, blankets, toys or funds may be given to Zeke’s family to be given to the NICU, PICU, & Shine Program at Blank Children’s Hospital.
