Coleen Ann Baldwin

Coleen Baldwin, 83, passed away Friday, October 22, 2021, at Carlisle Center for Wellness and Rehab in Carlisle, IA.
Coleen was born February 3, 1938, to John and Freda Ganzevoort in Sheldon, IA. She married Lawrence Baldwin on August 24, 1957, in Sheldon, where they made their home and raised their family. Coleen took great pleasure in being a mom and homemaker, as well as selling Avon for several years. She especially enjoyed her involvement with the church and church family, attending Sheldon Orab sporting events, cooking and baking, and time with family.
Coleen is survived by her husband, Lawrence Baldwin; her daughter, Lori Baldwin; her son, Ryan Baldwin and daughter-in-law Harper Baldwin; her sister, Elaine Van Westen and brother-in-law Dave Van Westen; grandchildren, Turner Baldwin, Jasmine (Zebullen) Krout, Alyson (Connor) McMahon and Trinity Chaffin; and five great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her brother, Jon; and her daughter, Rhonda.
In the interest of science, Coleen has chosen to donate her body to the University of Iowa. A memorial service will be held at St. Paul Lutheran Church in Sheldon on Saturday, November 20, at 11:00 a.m., and live streamed at facebook.com/SheldonStPaulLutheranChurch.

Larry & family, You have are very deepest sympathy in the loss of Colleen and Im sure she will be greatly missed specially during the holiday season and in the years ahead .Just letting you know youre in our thoughts and our prayers and wish you the best. Ive got lots of memories of her with church at St. Paul in Sheldon and card club with my parents ( Warren & Marian Betten).
