Nin Khanthavixay

Services will be held on Saturday, October 23, 2021 at Hamilton’s Funeral Home, 605 Lyon Street, Des Moines. Visitation will be from 12:30 to 2:30 p.m., followed by funeral at 2:30 p.m.

Nin Khanthavixay, age 40, passed away Sunday, October 10, 2021 at Mercy West Lakes in West Des Moines, IA. He stayed positive and true to who he was during his short battle with Covid. He was surrounded by his family and everyone who truly loved him who will continue to carry out his undying legacy.

He enjoyed fishing, camping, spending time with family and especially working with the church ministry. He was passionate about encouraging, building, and teaching people about God’s word.

He is survived by his beautiful and faithful wife Hannah. He was a proud father of two amazing boys, Joshua and Caleb. Nin will be remembered for his lightheartedness, big bright smile, and his leadership.

Nin was preceded in death by his older brother, Vilay Khanthavixay.
