Patrick James Quinn

Patrick James Quinn, 52, passed away August 8, 2021 at home in Des Moines Iowa.

Patrick “PJ” was born October 9, 1968 in Des Moines to James and Patricia Quinn. He served in the US Army and later he worked in masonry and construction in California and Iowa.

Patrick is survived by his loving mother, Patricia Belknap and stepfather, Darrell Belknap; his children, Grace Fucaloro, Trevor Quinn and Cassidy Sanchez; two sisters, Jennifer Neuman (Brad) of Eagan Minnesota and Shawn Kalny of Des Moines; aunts, uncles, and a host of nieces, nephews and cousins.

He loved family, cherished all kinds of music and was passionate about the outdoors. He was happiest with a fishing pole in his hand and Gracie at his side.

Patrick was preceded in death by his father, James Quinn; his son, Taylor Quinn; grandfathers, Donald Quinn, Sr. and Harold Matzke; his grandmother, Mabel Quinn and step-grandmother, Ruth Matzke; and his uncles, Charles Matzke and Donald Quinn, Jr.

Services for Patrick will be held at Lutheran Church of Hope in West Des Moines on Monday, August 16 at 11 AM. There will be a luncheon served in the bridge following services and interment at a later date.
