Brads memory of the green truck is far different than mine. Mine screamed more of near death experience than Van Halen. If you were one of the lucky ones to ride on the flatbed and responsible for keeping all the camping gear in, at some point you were more concerned about keeping yourself in. You see Shane got a great deal of enjoyment out of almost off-loading his passengers off the back of his truck through RAPID acceleration. Just as you were about to fall off the back he would hit the brakes and you find yourself towards the front of the truck in a mess of camping gear. Truly the most terrified Ive ever been. I would do it again for one more day with Shane.

So very sorry for your loss. I can still see Shane and Brad sleeping in the back yard in Don's little pup tent. The kids on this street had some good times together. Cherish the memories. Thoughts and prayers to the whole family.

And now, thee are 3 amigos. As one of the amigo's "dads" I remember all the good times you boys had and was pleased when you included me in your activities. I am gratified that your friendships have lasted.
And, to Shane's family, my condolences and sympathy.

So many fond memories of you Shane. Van Halen at max volume in your old green truck, riding skateboards down your street through fire, cross country, playing video games until 3am , water skiing at the lake and good times with you and Becky, canoe trips and camping at jester park.
You were a unique individual and that's what made you a special friend. We will all miss you greatly. "Where have all the good time gone?" Rest in peace buddy.

Shane was one of the four Amigos growing up. Shane, Chris, Brad, and I spent hours together. It was before cable and cell phones. We did at one point have Atari and Nintendo. Beyond that you would find us outside finding mischief. Shane would have gave the shirt off his back or jump in front of a Mac truck for his friends. His uniqueness and spontaneity is what made him special and fun to be around. I will miss you buddy and think of you often.
