Ruth was a dear friend. We met while working in the dietary department at Valley View Village. She was a very kind and caring person. She had a great sense of humor. She was also an incredible baker. I kept in touch with her after she retired. I will miss my friend very much.

Having known Ruth for only a few of her last years, I felt honored to see her regularly at the Fourmile Senior Center.
She was a woman who spoke her mind without apologies. She was a spitfire one minute and the next, a child at heart when she spoke of her kitty.
She was true to her convictions and spoke passionately about what she believed in.
A beautiful soul. I shall miss our daily life conversations.
May you rest in peace, Ruth.
