Charles Lee Cobb, age 75, passed away peacefully on Thursday, July 8, 2021.

Charles was born October 7, 1945 in Des Moines, Iowa to Roy and Edyth (Anderson) Cobb. He was a proud veteran of the United States Marine Corps serving from June 1964 – February 1970 during the Vietnam War. Charles was diagnosed with cancer on June 28th. He was tough as nails until the end, never using pain medication. Charles was a man’s man, but also one of the most kind hearted people you’d ever meet. He enjoyed exercising, especially weight lifting.

He is survived by his daughter, Lisa Kay McCullough (Mike); four grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.

Charles was preceded in death by his daughter, Laura Ann Zumbrunnen; great-granddaughter, Harper Durant; and his parents, Roy and Edyth Cobb.

There will be a graveside service at Sunset Memorial Gardens Monday, July 12, 2021 at 1:30 p.m.
