Patricia Brookins

Patricia Ann Brookins, 64, passed away Saturday, June 26, 2021.

Patricia was born January 27, 1957 in Mexico, Missouri to Philbert and Minnie Davenport. She loved spending time with her family and enjoyed riding on the back of motorcycles. She married Kenneth Brookins, Sr. on June 5, 1993.

She is survived by her son, Rafael Davenport; grandson, Darryl Cason; sisters, Phyllis Cooper, Mary Burton, Alice Davenport, Barbara Sledd, and Melissa Davenport; and many nieces and nephews.

Patricia was preceded in death by her parents, Philbert and Minnie Davenport; husband, Kenneth Brookins, Sr.; and her siblings, Philbert Davenport, Jr., Lydia Swinnie, and Charles Davenport.

Visitation will begin at 12:00 p.m., followed by funeral service at 1:00 p.m., Saturday, July 3, 2021 at Hamilton’s Funeral Home, 605 Lyon Street, Des Moines. Burial will take place at Glendale Cemetery after the funeral.
