Sherry Smith, age 75, passed away on Friday, March 26, 2021, at Methodist Hospital in Des Moines. She was born the daughter of Guy and Lytrice Smith on November 13, 1945, in Jefferson, Iowa. Sherry will be laid to rest at Orange Township Cemetery near Coon Rapids.

Sherry enjoyed going to Renaissance Fairs, due to her petite size she always ended up dressing as a fairy. Sherry was known for opening her heart and home up to any friends in need. She will be remembered most for her love of all animals, especially dogs, and her generous caring heart.

She is lovingly survived by her brother, Harold (Beverly) Smith; adopted son, Michael Bales and his sons, Jeremy, Jacob, Jonathan, and Justin; adopted daughter, Dulcinea and her children, Zach, Scott and Kelly; dear friends, Burlene Baker, Gary (Deb) Baker, Linda, and Gypsy.
