Ronald King
March 29, 2021
Ron King was born to Dale and Helen King on October 19, 1939, and passed on March 29, 2021.
Ron was an Eagle Scout in 1955, was a proud United States Navy veteran, and member of the Elks Club. He married Charm in 1958 and they lived in California and Alaska. Ron and Charm also lived in Naples for 21 years and returned to Iowa two years ago, living in Altoona. They celebrated 63 years of marriage this month.
Ron was a worker all his life. He went to work at Firestone Tire and Rubber for 30 years. He also ran gas stations and owned mobile home parks.
Ron was a generous, kind, and loving family man. He always wanted his children around and loved his vacations with them to many states, and Alaskan cruises. He will be missed so very much by family and friends.
Ron is survived by his loving wife, Charm; sons, Ronnie and Danny (Paula); daughter, Tani; 3 grandchildren, Lee Ann, Zachary (Stephanie) and Makaela (Jim) Pratt; 3 great-grandsons, Kristopher, Bodhi and Dylan; one brother, Dwight (Tammy) of Naples, FL. He was preceded in death by his parents; 2 brothers, Delbert and Lester; son, Robert Lee King; and grandson, Michael.
A private family service will be held at a later date.

I'm so sorry for your loss. Ronnie was truly a special man! I was lucky enough to be able to call him my friend for a long time. Then later on was able to work with Danny. I'm sure he will be missed by all who knew him! Rest in peace!

He loved his kids and grand kids and they loved him like nothing I've seen before. My late Grandfather RL Comegys who also retired after 33yrs @ Firestone spoke fondly of Mr.King-
