Georgianell Cannon, age 95, passed away on March 17th, 2021 at Bishop Drumm Retirement Center. She was born on February 25th, 1926 in Des Moines, IA to Charles & Violet Daniels.

Georgianell attended Vandalia Grade School in Runnells, IA until the 8th grade. She then received her GED in Des Moines, IA in 1974. Georgianell worked for many different establishments, including – a Leather Factory, an Egg Breaking Plant (Swifts), a Nylon Machine making plant, and a Chocolate Candy plant. She retired and was a housewife for the remainder of her life.

She enjoyed crocheting, traveling with her husband until his health no longer allowed travel, card playing, dominoes, country & western music, and a variety of crafts. Mom loved taking things apart and putting them back together again.

She is lovingly survived by her children, Daniel (Sharon) Shepherd, Ronald (Rosezetta) Shepherd, Philip (Cathy) Shepherd, Sue (Philip) See, Kay (Mark) Joines, and Louis (Jan) Caspers; Numerous Grandchildren and Great-Grandchildren; and a sister-in-law, Laura (Cannon) Daniels

She was preceded in death by her parents; husbands: Philip Shepherd & Roland E Cannon; a son, Michael Shepherd; Grandson, Shawn See; and six brothers.

Memorial service will be held at a later date.
