Heaven Joy Hayden, 32, died Monday, September 21, 2009 in a tragic car accident. Her body has been cremated and a private family memorial service will be held at a later date.
Heaven was born April 26, 1977. She was a fulltime student at DMACC. Heaven loved being a mom and spending time with her three beautiful children.
Heaven is survived by her mother, Charlene "Kay" Hayden; father, Guy (Barb) Hayden; her children, Michael Stelzer, Noah Chumos and Samara Jones; sister, Rhea Hayden; aunt, Tina LeGrand; uncle, Michael (Cherri) Williams; and many other extended relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her grandmother, Josephine Williams.
Memorial contributions may be directed to the family for her children's education.

First off I would like to tell you how truly sorry I am that this has happened. My prayers are with your family and friends.
I know Heaven from my time of living at the House of Mercy. I was in several of the same groups as her. I was brand new when Heaven had been there a few weeks. When I got there I was scared, had just moved to Iowa from Texas, so I didn't really know anybody. She talked with me, introduced me around, and really guided me in many ways. We shared alot of the same sort of history and the same struggles. I really saw in her myself and was so thankful to have someone who I could relate to and trust. I will look back on our time together with deep appreciation and respect. I lost contact with her after she left, so I really hadn't had the privledge of seeing how she had done and how far she had gotten. I do want you to know that I learned from her and she will be thought of often and fondly.

Guy, Barb & family:
I was so sorry to learn of Heaven's death. Her time here on earth was cut way too short. It has been a number of years since Mick and Heaven had dinner here after they got off work at Sears. We had some good visits though. I miss my friend Mick every day and I know that she was waiting with open arms to greet Heaven when she arrived on the other side. Your family is no stranger to loss, but you are strong. That strength will enable you to go forward with your lives always remembering those that have gone before you. I believe that they are watching over you now. Please take care of yourselves and know that you've been in my thoughts and prayers.

I was friends with Heaven at Weeks Middle School. I have lots of pictures us together. I am so sorry for your loss she was a wonderful person and fun to be around. I am just really shocked right now.
