Jeff Loftus, 40, died Friday, September 18, 2009 at Broadlawns Medical Center from complications of a blood clot.
Jeff graduated from Saydel High School and enjoyed fishing, hunting, car races and family get togethers.
Jeff is survived by his daughter; Chelsea Loftus, mother; Mary (Dick) Wilson, brothers; Jay (Stacy) Loftus, Jim Loftus and Joe (Kelly) Loftus, sisters; Jeannie (Merlin) Headrick and Jennifer (Terry) Mittelstedter.
Jeff was preceded in death by his grandparents, Jay Cory and Helen Steakman.
A visitation with the family present will be from 6-8 pm Monday September 21, 2009. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 pm Tuesday September 22, 2009 at Hamilton's near Highland Memory Garden, 121 NW 60th Avenue, Des Moines, Iowa, with burial to follow at Holy Cross Cemetery in Farrar, Iowa.
Memorial contributions may be made to the family in loving memory of Jeff.
