Susan J. Hausner, 67, of Altoona passed away peacefully Thursday, September 17, 2009 at home.
Susan was born February 3, 1942 to Frances and John York in Chicago, Il.
Susan is survived by her husband, Dennis of Altoona; one daughter, Sharon Prombo of Altoona; three grandchildren, Jacob, Sophie and Joshua; one sister, Linda (Charlie) Chandler of Kula, HI. She was preceded in death by her parents and a brother, John York of Wellington, FL.
A memorial gathering is planned for friends and relatives at the home of Sharon Prombo on Saturday, September 26, 2009, from 2 to 4 pm. Memorial contributions may be made to Iowa Health Hospice.

Our Thoughts & Prayers are with you & your family during this time , may your Mom now rest in peace, As time goes on, may we all look to new beginnings for the sky is full of hope for all of us, look to the stars she is there watching all of us , we will again someday be with her too. We all thank her for the memories that she has given you & your family though out the years , nothing will never take that away.
