Gary Lingren

Gary Allen Lingren, age 70, passed away Monday, January 11, 2021 at Methodist Hospital in Des Moines after a sudden illness.
Gary was born December 13, 1950 in Ogden, Utah to Samuel Jr. and Alberta Charlotte Lingren. He was a graduate of East High School in Des Moines, Iowa and proudly served his country in the United States Air Force. He worked many years for Wells Fargo as a Mortgage Account Executive. He enjoyed fishing and trying a round of golf with his good friend Rodney.
He is survived by his son, Brandon Lingren; mother, Charlotte Lingren; brothers, David and Steven Lingren; sisters, Kathy (Michael) De Fino and Juli (Chuck) De Fino.
Cremation will occur and inurnment with military honors will take place at Iowa Veterans Cemetery, 34024 Veterans Memorial Drive, Adel, IA 50003 at 12:30 p.m. Wednesday, January 20, 2021.

It has been many years since I worked with Gary at Wells Fargo but he was one of my favorite coworkers. We had a lot of fun and I learned so much from him. I am sending my heartfelt condolences to Gary's family, friends and coworkers.

I am saddened to hear of Gary's passing. Gary was on my team for several years and was always a great worker. Gary was a joy to have on the team and always let you know what he thought, which i appreciated. He will be missed by so many. Love and prayers to Gary's family and friends. ❤🙏 😪

My condolences go out to all of Gary's famliy and friends. Gary and I have worked together in one capacity or another over the last 18 years. He was one of a kind and that is what made him so special. He had a heart of gold if you took the time to get to know him. I am so grateful for the many years, conversations, and laughs with Gary.

I am so saddened to hear of the passing of Gary. I can see him walking down the hall with ice cream in hand. He had a tough exterior, but truly was so kindhearted. He will be missed.

Gary you were an amazing man & j truly enjoyed working with you. We no longer worked in same area, but i was always happy to see you either walking halls eating your ice cream, or seeing you in parking lot & having a quick chat. prayers to your family
