Luis Salina, Jr., 58, died peacefully at his home unexpectedly of natural causes on December 16, 2020. He was born September 7, 1962 in Lubbock, TX to Dominga (Garcia) and Luis Salinas, Sr. He graduated from PSJA High School and then continued his education at Texas State Technical Institute to receive his drafting degree. Luis worked as an independent designer/drafter and specialized in creating silos. He was a hard worker with a can do attitude and was always there to help his family. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, boating and classic cars.
He is survived by his mother, Dominga Salinas; his siblings, Mary Louisa Florez, Rosalinda Salinas-Solis, Benito Salinas, Diana Salinas- DeLeon and Daniel Salinas; 14 nieces and nephews and many great-nieces and nephews. Luis was preceded in death by his father, Luis Salinas, Sr.

We are very sadden by Louie's passing. We have lived across the street for more than 20 years. While often it was just a quick wave or hello, we did enjoy talking of yard work and cars, sports and our beloved dogs. Our thought are with the family.
