Carl Lund

Carl A. Lund, 59, passed away Tuesday, August 25, 2009 at the VA Hospital.
Carl was born September 11, 1949 to Gerald and Geraldine (Vogal) Lund in Stanley, WI. He was a U.S. Marine veteran, having served two tours of duty in Vietnam. Carl lived most of his adult life in the Des Moines area and enjoyed playing BINGO, and fishing.
Carl is survived by his wife, Anita; son, Richard (Heather) Lund; brothers, Gerald Lund, Gale (Karla) Lund, David Lund and Craig Lund; and many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents.
Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. Friday, August 28, 2009 at Hamilton's Funeral Home, 605 Lyon Street, with burial at Glendale Cemetery. Visitation will be held from 11 a.m. until service time Friday at the funeral home.
