Dorothy Fetters

Dorothy Fetters, 95, passed away January 29 at Skiff Memorial Hospital in Newton. Graveside services will be held 11 am Friday at Laurel Hill Cemetery. Visitation will be held from 5pm to 7pm Thursday at Hamilton’s Funeral Home.
Dorothy was born November 17, 1911 in Des Moines to Zoe and William Davis. She worked as a waitress at Kresge’s for 35 years. Dorothy lived in Des Moines for her entire life. She enjoyed fishing.
Dorothy is survived by her son and daughter-in-law, Gary and Betty Fetters, her daughter, Betty Mitchell both of Des Moines. Five grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren. She was preceeded in death by her husband, Willard D. Fetters.
