Ricky Dean Jayne

Rick Jayne, 56, passed away Sunday, August 16, 2009. Private family services will be held at a later date.
Rick was born December 15, 1952 in Des Moines. He was a lifelong Des Moines resident. Rick worked for Iowa Asbestos for many years. He loved the outdoors, fishing, painting and animals of all kinds.
Rick is survived by his wife, Debra; step-children, Jody, Amber and Jesse; five granddaughters; two grandsons; and his siblings, Tom Jayne, Vernon Jayne, Sandy Torrey, Pam Lehman, Richard Benton, Traci Steele and Kathy Amiegh. He was preceded in death by his father, Vernon Jayne and his mother, Patricia Benton.
A memorial service will be held at 11 a.m. Monday, August 24, 2009 at Lee Town Assembly Church, 2720 State Ave. in Des Moines.
