Service Details
Mark David Silver passed away on December 3, 2020. Mark was born on December 20, 1967 and was a graduate of Ankeny High School. He continued his education, earning his degree at Drake University.
Mark was a longtime resident of Ankeny and the Des Moines community. He was an avid sports fan and loved to root for all of the Iowa college teams, as well as his beloved Philadelphia Eagles.
He is survived by his parents, Ken and Jean Silver of Ankeny, brother, Mike (Jamie) Silver of Ankeny, and sister, Valentina Knox of Texas.
In light of the pandemic, there will be a private family service.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be designated to a charity of your choice.

Our thoughts, prayers and love are with you all during this difficult time. We enjoyed getting to know Mark in Florida this year. He was quite the guy😥 It's such a hard thing to lose a child no matter what their age😥.Take care of yourselves and stay safe. Mark I already miss u. Im sorry I couldnt see u the last 2 times we talked but I know u understood. U were such a great guy at times n I prayed 4 ur health n mental all the time n u knew that. Fly high n know I will Never forget u. Love Snoopy

Our deepest sympathy and condolences for the Silver family, our friends. We love you and are praying for all of you during this time of passing for your son, brother, and child of God, Mark. He had a quick wit and was fun and interesting to talk with. We had fun shopping in Florida, and he had great input and fashion sense!! We love you all and hope to spend time together again soon!
