Robert Anthony Novak, 61, died Tuesday, November 17, 2020 at Taylor House Hospice in Des Moines. He was born May 9, 1959 to Bernerd and Doris (Novotny) Novak.
Robert graduated from South Tama High School. He moved to Des Moines in 1990 where he enjoyed working at different restaurants and bars.
Robert is survived by his son, Joshua (Juvy) Novak; brothers, John and Tom Novak; sister, Anita Bohnstengel; many nieces and nephews; and a host of other family and friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents; and brother, Ron Novak.
Per his request, no services will be held. Memorial contributions may be directed to the family.

Bob was a good guy, and
I have fond memories of killing time talking about silly nothings, now and then. We were kids, so nothing deep. Rest peacefully, Bob.
