Marilyn Remsburg

Marilyn Arlene Remsburg, 66 went home to her Heavenly Father Saturday, January 27, 2007 in Tucson, Arizona. Funeral services will be 10AM Saturday, February 3rd at Christ Lutheran Church 6411 SE 5th Street, Des Moines with burial following at Sunset Memorial Gardens Cemetery.
Marilyn was born August 8, 1940 in Des Moines. She loved gardening, oil painting, playing cards, and playing YAHTZEE.
Marilyn is survived by her sons, Mark Remsburg of Des Moines, Craig Remsburg of Tucson; her daughter, Nicole Remsburg of Tucson; her grandchildren, Amanda Remsburg, Justin Remsburg, Ashlie Calvert, Madison Remsburg; her great grandchildren, Gwenivere Calvert, Aydon Calvert; her brothers, Harlen Gee and Larry Gee of Des Moines, LaMont Gee of Ohio, Elmer Gee of Arkansas; sisters, Esther Morris, Bertha Ellis, Nancy Evans all of Des Moines and Eleanor Uheling of Ottumwa. She was preceded in death by her husband, Galen Remsburg.
Visitation will be from 5-8pm Friday, February 2nd at Hamilton’s Southtown Funeral Home. Memorial contributions may be made to Christ Lutheran Church.
