Service Details
Robert M. Dildine, 86, ascended into heaven on July 27, 2009. Funeral services will be Friday, July 31, 2009 at 9:00 AM at Hamilton's Funeral Home, with visitation one hour prior. Burial will follow at Iowa Veterans Cemetery.
Robert was a World War II Navy veteran, retiring from the State of Iowa Division of Criminal Investigation. He was an excellent pool and cribbage player.
He is survived by his loving wife, Linda, and he is preceded in death by his sister, his father, his mother, and brother.

I am very sorry for your loss. Bob was a classmate and friend of my father, Fred Nickens. I met Bob several times and he was a very nice and caring person. He and my dad shared many laughs and I think they are now together catching up and sharing more laughter.

Dear Linda,
Please accept my sincere condolences in the passing of Bob. I
sure remember him. I also remember the valuable contribution he made
to the Bureau of Ciminal Investigation.

Linda,
I am very sorry to learn of the passing of Bob. I've always looked upon him as my uncle. He was and still is a good man. I have always enjoyed his company. Soon, we will all join him in Heaven. Hold your head high and be proud and happy for the days you had together.
