Harold Parks

Harold L. Parks, 76, passed away Friday, January 26, 2007 at Iowa Methodist Hospital. Graveside services will be held 11:00 A.M. on Wednesday, January 31, at Greenwood Cemetery near Knoxville, Iowa. Visitation with the family will be held Tuesday evening from 6 to 8 PM at Hamilton’s Funeral Home, 605 Lyon St.
Harold was born August 25, 1930 in Des Moines, IA. He attended East High. He served his country in US Army in Germany as a Medical Corpsman. Harold lived in Winterset following his service until moving back to Des Moines in 1965. Harold loved to fish, especially his trips to Canada. He enjoyed cooking and spending time with his beloved pet dog “Buddy”.
Harold is survived by his cousins, Sylvia (Bob) Mendenhall and Bill Parks; and a special friend, Jeri; other relatives and friends. Harold was preceded in death by his parents, Eunice and Sam Parks and his favorite Grandmother, Elsie Hayes.
