Thomas Parkey

Thomas R. Parkey, 67, died Thursday, January 25, 2007 at Valley View Village. Funeral services will be held at 2:30 p.m. Tuesday, January 30, 2007 at Hamilton’s Funeral Home, 605 Lyon St. with burial at Glendale Cemetery. Visitation will be held from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. Monday and from 1:00 p.m. to service time on Tuesday.
Thomas was born January 17, 1940 to Robert and Mamie Parkey in Des Moines and was a lifelong resident. He was a self employed mechanic. Thomas enjoyed fishing, putting bicycles together and spending time with his family.
Thomas is survived by his wife, Jacqueline Parkey; daughter, Lisa (Jeff) Turner; son, Mark (Danielle) Parkey; step-sons, James and Jason Wright; two brothers, Roger Parkey and Russell Parkey; two sisters, Betty Wilkinson and Gaynelle Narcisse; eight grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
