Jim, Cindy, Jimmie and families, I am sure there is a special place for Naomi in that eternal place of joy. I will always remember Naomi as a gentle, generous and loving lady who helped me way back when Jerry and I were young, very broke and living in Des Moines (1965-1966) All memories of her are special, but I will always remember how she continued to hug me each time I saw her, as though her love for me did not change with divorce. She had a way of teaching others how to "love one another". I'll not be able to attend services for Naomi, but will have you all in my thoughts and prayers.

We've lost a dear friend. She was "our Grandma too". We'll miss her smiling face and the wonderful support she has given us. We will forever cherish the memories. Grandma Bishop's family will be in our thoughts and prayers for the days, weeks, and months to come. God Bless.

I so remember the family reunions when we did the egg toss contest. There were times I wondered if "You" knew who had that hard boiled egg. Then to remember your expression on your face when you watched each one break open and ooze all over a niece, nephew, sister, brother,Cindy or Jimmy,or even one of your grandchildren. That look of amusement and laughter will always be imprinted in my mind. Halloween was another favorite of memories especially when you wore those "silly" false teeth to greet me and my kids at the door. The laughs and jokes we shared, will be cherished forever.
But most of all aunt Noami, I thank you for being an important part of my life. You taught me so much.....a good sense of humor, being a good family role model, how to grab life by the horns and hold on, and such an inspiration to help me build in my faith. God was so good, when he blessed our lives with you!!
LOVING YOU ALWAYS,
Your niece Amy Siemer

She helped me gang up on the older kids during our awesome water fights.
She was always right around the corner at church to give me a hug and ask how my week went. When my car quit, prayed Aunt Naomi was running erronds and she would just show up. She taught me how to spit a watermelon seeds and blow the biggest bubblegum bubbles.
I just remember her always being their whenever their was a need.
I'm thankful for the times we shared, and one day will again.
Missing you
Love Jacob

I called you my "double aunt", because you and mom were sisters and Uncle Jim and dad were brothers. I thought this was special, and not like any others.
So all throughout my life, you were ALWAYS there. To talk , to guide to love, I always knew you cared.
You filled my childhood with love and always a little mischief. In my older days, advise, comfort, and friendship.
A servant's heart you showed to me, and it left quite an impression. To everything there is a season, it comes with gentle expression.
May we remember precious things as the time will pass. The legacy cycle repeating itself, from first breath to the last.
Love Lauri
