Hilario Flores

Hilario Flores, de 68 años, falleció el jueves 8 de octubre de 2020 en Mercy Hospice en Johnston. Hilario nació el 27 de enero de 1952 y creció en El Salvador. Se mudó a los Estados Unidos cuando tenía 29 años y vivía en Nueva York, donde trabajaba en una gran lavandería. Recientemente se mudó a Iowa hace dos años. Hilario era miembro de la iglesia Tree of Life Apostles & Prophets. Algunos de sus pasatiempos e intereses incluían su amor por el aire libre, caminar, tomar fotografías y pasar tiempo con sus nietos.

Le sobrevive amorosamente la madre de sus hijos, Ester; hijas, Evelin, Marlin, Maira y Susana; 16 nietos; 2 hermanos; 2 hermanas; y muchos familiares y amigos extendidos.

El velorio se llevará a cabo de 6:00 a 8:00 p.m., y el servicio funeral comenzará a las 8:00 p.m., el domingo 11 de octubre de 2020 en Tree of Life Apostles & Prophets Church, 2261 E. Grand Ave, Des Moines. El sepelio se llevará a cabo a las 11:00 a.m., el lunes 12 de octubre en Oakwood Cemetery en Pleasant Hill.

Hilario Flores, age 68, passed away on Thursday, October 8, 2020 at Mercy Hospice in Johnston. Hilario was born on January 27, 1952 and grew up in El Salvador. He moved to the United States when he was 29 years old and lived in New York, where he worked at a large laundromat. He recently moved to Iowa two years ago. Hilario was a member of Tree of Life Apostles & Prophets Church. Some of his hobbies and interests included his love for the outdoors, walking, taking photographs and spending time with his grandchildren.

He is lovingly survived by the mother of his children, Ester; daughters, Evelin, Marlin, Maira, and Susana; 16 grandchildren; 2 brothers; 2 sisters; and many extended family members and friends.

Visitation will be held from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m., with funeral service to begin at 8:00 p.m., Sunday, October 11, 2020 at Tree of Life Apostles & Prophets Church, 2261 E. Grand Ave, Des Moines. Interment will be held at 11:00 a.m., Monday, October 12th at Oakwood Cemetery in Pleasant Hill.
