Timothy Shelton, 60, passed away Tuesday, October 6, 2020 at his residence.
Tim was born July 5, 1960 to Jerry and Violet (Fisher) Shelton in Des Moines, Iowa. He was an avid Miami Dolphins and Iowa Hawkeye fan.
Tim is survived by his mother, Violet Ayres; father, Jerry (Joyce) Shelton; siblings, Pam McKeown, Jerry Shelton and Sharon (Rod) Lossner; companion and best friend, Jennifer Wallace; and lots of nieces, nephews and friends.
He was preceded in death by his step-father, Sam Ayres; and brother-in-law, Rick McKeown.
The family will greet friends Monday, October 19, 2020 from 11:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. followed by the funeral service at 12:00 p.m. at Hamilton’s Southtown Funeral Home, 5400 SW 9th Street. Tim will be laid to rest at Sunset Memorial Gardens Cemetery in Des Moines, Iowa.
Memorial contributions may be directed to the family in remembrance of Tim.

we are saddened to have lost our good friend Tim. I've known Tim most of my life. Tammy and I will value the years and memories we shared together. Our condolences and heart go out to the family.
