Harry Green

Harry Green, 85, died June 2, 2009 at the Polk City Nursing and Rehab Center.
Harry was born July 6, 1923 to William and Gladys Green in Des Moines, IA. Harry enjoyed watching pro wrestling and looking for deer.
A funeral service will be held at 12:00 PM, Saturday, June 6, 2009 at Hamilton's Southtown Funeral Home, 5400 SW 9th in Des Moines. Burial will follow at Sunset Memorial Gardens. Visitation will occur 5-8 PM Friday evening at the funeral home.
Harry is survived by his wife, Kathy; his daughter, Sharon (Rickey) Meier; his son, Terry Green; stepchildren, Andrea Moore and Bruce Waddell; 4 grandchildren; 5 great-grandchildren; 7 step-grandchildren; and 9 step-great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by, his first wife, Doris and his son, Harry (Pete) Jr.
Memorial contributions may be directed toward the Alzheimer’s Association.
