Mark Krumbholz, 56, of Norwalk passed away on May 28, 2009. A funeral Mass will be held at 2 pm on Monday, June 1st at St. John the Apostle Catholic Church in Norwalk with burial following at the St. John's Church Cemetery. The family will greet friends from 4-7 P.M. Sunday at Hamilton's Southtown Funeral Home where there will be a 7 PM Rosary service.
Mark was manager of computer operations at Principal Financial where he had worked for 39 years. He was an avid Hawkeye fan and enjoyed golfing, spending time in his yard and being with his family.
He is survived by his wife Rita, his sons Jason (Bridget) Krumbholz of McKinney, Texas and Ryan Krumbholz of Norwalk, his parents Dale and Janet Krumbholz of Des Moines, his brothers David (Melanie) Krumbholz of Kansas City and Tom (Sheryl) Krumbholz of Des Moines as well as numerous nieces, nephews and extended family.

Rita, Jason, Ryan and all the Krumbholz's,
John and I are so deeply saddened to hear about Mark, we have such fond memories of all of you at the many family events at Dave and Melanie's, we know that right now the grief is great, but God's love will sustain you, and in time so will your memories. Our thoughts and prayers are with you.

Dear Rita, Jason, Bridget and Ryan ~ It is difficult to find the words to express how shocked and sadden I was when Kevin called to tell me of Mark's death. I know from the times Kevin spent in your home that there is an abundance of love and support in the Krumbholz family. I hope that will help each of you through the difficult days ahead. We were fortunate to have known him and he will be remembered with a smile. I hope you will find comfort in treasured memories of wonderful times with family and friends. My condolences to Mark's parents and siblings as well.

It's was such a shock to hear the news of Mark's death. We are both very saddened by this. He was a great husband, father, and friend! I'll miss Mark's boisterous voice and laugh. He was a great co-worker and enjoyed being part of the Principal family. You leave a large hole to fill, and you've touched the lives of many people.
Our prayers are with Rita and sons, and all of Mark's family during this difficult time. Peace be with all you.
