LaDaun Ellen Wilkes

LaDaun Ellen Wilkes was born September 3, 1944 in Sac City, Iowa to Gaylord and Leona (Boom) Boyd. She was employed by RG Dickenson Brokerage Firm as a Supervisor. She was a very active member of Light House Community Church in Des Moines, also a member of the Dingbats group. LaDaun passed away peacefully on Wednesday, August 5, 2020 at the age of 75 at Taylor House Hospice.

She is survived by her daughter, Brenda Sams; granddaughter, Sarah K. (David) Campbell; seven great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews. LaDaun was preceded in death by her husband, Donald Eugene Wilkes, in 2009; parents, Gaylord and Leona Boyd; and her siblings, Ruth Dankbar, Marlene Anderson, Karen West, and Kathy Casey.

Cremation will occur and a Celebration of Life will be held at Lighthouse Community Church, please contact family for details.
