Jeannetta Hall

Jeannetta Hall, 62, lost her battle with cancer on Saturday, May 2, 2009 at Bright Kavanagh House in Des Moines. The funeral service will be held 11:00 a.m. Tuesday, May 5, 2009 at First Baptist Church in Norwalk. Burial will be at Norwalk Cemetery.
Jeannetta was born August 6, 1946 in Jefferson, IA to Florence and Dwight Marsh of Scranton, IA. She was employed with Principal Financial Group as a type setter for over 42 years. One of her biggest joys in life were her four grandchildren, and attending all of their activities. She was an avid Hawkeye fan and loved watching Hawkeye basketball and football.
Jeannetta is survived by her loving husband Jim; her daughters, Jodi Jensen and Julie Hodges; her grandchildren: Todd and Tanner Jensen, Tod Hodges, Jr. and Kaylee Hodges; her mother Florence Marsh; and her sisters, Jan Grant, Marilyn Phillips, and Rhonda Olerich. She was preceded in death by her father, Dwight Marsh.
Visitation will be 5:00 – 8:00 p.m. on Monday, May 4, 2009 at Hamilton’s Southtown Funeral Home, 5400 SW 9th St. Memorial contributions may be made to either the American Cancer Society or Hospice of Central Iowa in loving memory of Jeannetta.
