Service Details
Tim Stapes 52, died April 23, 2009 at Iowa Methodist Hospital. A memorial visitation will be held from 5-8 PM Monday, April 27, at Hamilton's Southtown Funeral Home.
Tim graduated from Lincoln in 1975 and enjoyed mushroom and deer hunting and was an avid fan of the Iowa Hawks and Jeff Gordon.
He is survived by his wife, Terry; parents, Charlene and Lloyd; brothers, Rick (Susan) and Tom; nephews, Dillon, Cody, Chad and nieces, Ashley and Nichole; and in-laws Judy Steward and Gary. Aunts and Uncles, Saun and Ray Hill, Joan and Darrell Stapes, Merle Stapes and Melba; numerous cousins and his two dogs, Jake and Susie.
Memorial Contributions may be made to the family.

Dear Aunt Char, Uncle Lloyd, Terry and family,
We are so sorry for your loss. I wish we could be there with you all during this time. You are in our thoughts and prayers! Tim is now with Grandma, Grandpa and Uncle Bob! There are no words to express how we feel right now. Steve is right, he is at peace now and healthy. We are thinking of you all!

Aunt Char and Uncle Lloyd,
We are so sad for your loss. The best thought that keeps coming to my mind is Tim is now at peace. He has no illness anymore and is totally healthy. My memory has faded as I have gotten older, but I still remember all the cousins playing baseball at Grandma and Grandpa's house in Redfield!
Our thoughts and prayers are with you all. You are all in our thoughts.
