Roberto Gomez

Roberto Gomez, Sr., 55, passed away at his home Thursday, April 23, 2009. Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. Monday, April 27, 2009, at Hamilton’s Funeral Home, 605 Lyon St. Visitation will be held from 1 to 8 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home with a vigil service at 5 p.m.
Roberto was born February 19, 1954 in Mexico. He was a steel worker for several years. Roberto enjoyed spending time with his family, especially his grandchildren and was an avid Dallas Cowboys fan.
Roberto is survived by his wife of 36 years, Maria; children, Maria D. Gomez, Roberto Gomez, Jr. and Angelica Rodriguez; father, Eleno Gomez; several brothers and sisters; and 13 grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his mother, Elisa Martinez.
