Shelley Ann Kellogg

Shelley Kellogg, age 46, passed away Sunday, May 24, 2020 after a courageous battle with cancer. She passed peacefully in the comfort of her own home surrounded by her loving family.

Services will be held on Friday, May 29, 2020 at Experience Church, 3800 East Douglas Avenue, Des Moines. Public visitation will be held from 9:00 to 11:00 a.m. Private family funeral service will begin at 11:00 a.m. If guests are not able to attend the service in person, the family invites friends to join them virtually for Shelley’s service through the link in her obituary below. Shelley will be laid to rest at Laurel Hill Cemetery after the funeral.

Shelley was born March 3, 1974 to Orville Kellogg and Linda Kellogg (Boylan) in Des Moines, where she attended school and raised her boys. She worked in the Money Center at Walmart for many years. Shelley had a very contagious smile that could light up any room.

She is survived by her two sons Toby Ragan and Skyler Ragan of Des Moines, her mother Linda Boylan of Des Moines, her brother, Orville Kellogg (Tammy) of Des Moines, her sister Missy Cole (James) of Pleasant Hill, her boyfriend Monte Bales of Des Moines, and many nieces, nephews, other family, and many friends who loved her.

She was preceded in death by her father Orville Kellogg and her grandparents and aunts.
