She is survived by her son, Roger (Kris); grandchildren, Jason Lee (Katy Dutcher), Jonathon Jay, Jessica Marie (Daniel) Auel, and Joscelyn Hope; four great-grandchildren; two step-grandchildren; and three step-great-grandchildren.

I am so sorry to hear of Bettys passing. We shared many good times together in Auxiliary which I fondly remember. Walt would always say she took good care of the farm workers, serving excellent meals. May all the memories be a blessing that provides you support and comfort always.

I feel so blessed to have been able to be a part of Betty's life. She was an awesome person and fiesty as ever. I so loved that about her. It was awesome to be her daughter in law and after Harold passed away she always checked up on me. About 10 years ago she asked me if there was anything of hers that I wanted which was hard but she said I will not be around forever so pick something. Well she had a set of figurines of George and Martha Washington which I have the dinner ware that it matches. She said take them I will cherish them forever. We will all miss her and just know that I am always here for you guys.

If you never got the chance to have a "in the field" working lunch prepared by Betty, well you didn't have a full and complete life. The best 4 star lunch one could ever imagine. We are not talking a subway sandwich kind of lunch, nooo, we are talking a gourmet don't want to move after lunch, lunch. What a cook, Betty was so careful to ensure we got what we liked and more than we could handle, and if you didn't eat what she thought you should have, she fixed you right up and you better not say no. (except water, always tea?) Betty cared for all of us with her love and grace. Patient with us boys, even when we tested Ralph's, I know she ran block for us more than once!
Roger and family, may you find peace in knowing your mother was special, a true one of a kind. Her journey here is over and we will all miss her, but know we will see her again and in a capacity we can only imagine. I wonder what kind of lunch she will have prepared when our day comes? When I see Betty again and I will, surely I will be thirsty from my journey, Betty please have Water and not Tea !
God Speed to all that Loved Betty and will miss her dearly!
