Even though I never knew Ralph personally, I know his grandson Scott. If Ralph was instrumental in teaching and shaping Scott into the police officer he is today, he did an excellent job and he should be very proud. The Baker Family should also be very proud of their service to the City of Des Moines through the generations with Ralph, Scott's father and now with Scott. We are very honored and proud to have had and to have the Baker family a part of the City of Des Moines Family.
