Lora Byerly

Lora Dyan Byerly, age 49, passed away peacefully on Monday, February 10, 2020 at her home in West Des Moines, Iowa. Lora was born on June 28, 1970 in Des Moines, Iowa. She worked at Coach House Gifts and Farm Bureau, but her most meaningful vocation was being a mother. She was an avid cat lover and enjoyed listening to many kinds of music, her favorites being songs by The Beatles, Jay-Z, and Beyoncé. Above all, she treasured time spent with her family and friends.

Lora was preceded in death by her maternal grandfather, Robert St. John; paternal grandparents, Kenneth Byerly and Mary Sales Byerly; and her beloved cats, Jackman (Wackers) and Newman.

She is survived by her son, Jordan Byerly; parents, Michael Byerly, Diana (St. John) and Bob Anderson; brother, Ryan Byerly; maternal grandmother, Denise (Benoit) St. John; aunt, Carol St. John; uncles, Gary (Linda) St. John and Dennis (Cindy) Byerly; and her sissy, Amy Herr.

Private services were held Sunday, February 16, 2020.
