Dr. Henry John Prager, age 86, passed away at his home on Sunday, November 10, 2019. He was born on March 6, 1933 in Springfield, Massachusetts.
Henry proudly served his country in the US Navy during the Korean War. He was a professor of economics and accounting at Graceland University for ten years, and then DMACC, where he retired from after 27 years. He was always fond of his students, and especially cherished the times he ran into them after their graduation. Some of his hobbies and interests included, golfing, playing bingo, woodworking, caring for his freshwater aquarium, and especially spending time with his dogs.
Those left to cherish his memory include his children, Terelene France, Kathelene (James) Tingle, Nathan Walker Prager and Henry Alexander Prager; grandchildren, Wesley Tingle, Dustin Prager and Derrick France.
Henry was preceded in death by his parents John Vernon and June Netka; sons, Mark Vincent, Nicolas John, Sean Michael and Andrew James Prager; and his siblings, Theodore and Dorothy.
The family will hold a private service at home, with a military burial to follow at a later date.

I was so grateful when you and Pam found one another and it was truly an honor to stand with you both when you took your vows. Through thick and thin, joy and sorrow, it was a beautiful ride. Love you, Henry, we will miss you so.
