After reading the beautiful thoughts to all of you from , Frankie Burns it doesnt surprise me that Mitch lived his life giving , sharing , smiling and loving. We became friends at Brody Jr High thru till graduating from LHS class of '79 (40 years ago). Like many we've lived our lifes but , somehow I knew Mitch would live his life and be the beautiful man Frankie Burns has described. Mitch was always so laid back and smiling . I remember a "giggle" and it made me "giggle"
45 years ago....thanks , Mitch GOD BLESS YOU , my friend.

Mitch, you were a blessing to all who knew you. I was so very lucky to have you in my life, and you will never leave my heart.
These words are for you,........
I am pieces of all the places I have been, and the people I have loved. I've been stitched together by song lyrics, books, quotes, adventure, late night conversations, moonlight and the smell of coffee.

Oh my sweet friend, such sadness I feel knowing that I will not see you, or spend time with u again. Mitch u brought such joy and laughter into so many lives, only one of which was mine. Every New Years Day, we would all gather in you and Dave's, wonderful home, for a beginning of the New Year event/ celebration. We would find u busy in the kitchen, making us all feel wanted, feeding us all wonderful food, from Prime Rib to Gumbo, and showing us all the love you gave so freely.
I hope in my thoughts and prayers that your new adventure, we will meet once again. This, in a strange way, brings me peace from a friend you left behind. I'm left now, with my memories of all of the joy you so easily gave to us all who knew you dear Mitch. I will miss you, your kindness, your big smile, and do know I love you. Peace be with you, my kind friend, it was MY pleasure to have known you, and, shared time with you. You are the best.
Much love to your family, and especially Dave, who you loved so much. Itis time now to rally around Dave, who's loss is great, you both made a great team !
My thoughts and prayers are with you all, especially from me, to Dave.....
Rest in peace, laughter, and love my friend.
Much Love,
Frankie Burns
