Charles Venn, 75, died at his home Sunday, February 22, 2009. Visitation will be held from 4 to 8 p.m. Friday February 27, 2009 at Hamilton’s Funeral Home, 605 Lyon St.
Charles was born March 30, 1933 in Des Moines. He enjoyed fishing, hunting and rodeos.
Charles is survived by his wife, Jean; children, Rick (Becky), Joe (Julie), Terry (Mike), Ronda (Russ), Pat (Becky), Kelly (Nicci), Lora (Carla) and Diana; brother, Jack Losee; sister, Juanita Strauss; 27 grandchildren and 17 great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his daughter, Margaret Keith; mother, Lucille and brother, Butch.

Jo, Julie and Nicole, I am sorry to hear of the loss of your Dad and Grandpa. I see that he loved to fish. What a special legacy he passed down to Jo then to Nicole and then to Tabitha. Those are memories that will be treasured for generations to come. Take care. Love you! Julie B
