Donald Wilkinson

Donald Edward Wilkinson, age 62, passed away Tuesday, July 9, 2019.

Don was born August 21, 1956 in Des Moines, Iowa to William and Lillian Wilkinson. He worked as a mechanic and loved figure 8 racing. Cars were his life and he was very talented at working with his hands. Don loved his family and his kids and grandkids were his pride and joy.

Don is survived by his wife, Martha Reese Wilkinson; children, Rebecca Wilkinson, Margaret Wilkinson, and Edward (Jowlene Mason) Wilkinson; step-children, Erica Jones and Buddy Reese; 17 grandchildren; one great-grandson on the way; siblings, Margaret (Brad) Smith, John (Robin) Wilkinson, Tom (Gloria) Wilkinson, and Carol Wilkinson; and numerous nieces, nephews, and extended family.

He was preceded in death by his parents, William and Lillian Wilkinson; and his siblings, Patricia Nichols and Harold Wilkinson.

Cremation will occur. There will be a celebration of life at a later date.

In lieu of flowers, contributions may be directed to the family to assist with expenses.
