Jacqueline Daugherty

Jacqueline Sue Daugherty, 57, passed away peacefully Thursday, May 9, 2019.

She was born on November 7, 1961, in Des Moines, Iowa to Marion and Rennis Pinczer. She worked as a mail handler for the USPS. She collected clowns and enjoyed being outdoors and gardening. Jackie had an open door and an open heart policy, she welcomed everyone in to her home at all times and would typically cook enough food most nights to feed an army. She had a wonderful sense of humor and was a go-getter. Jackie had a strong work ethic – she was the rock of the family and her presence will definitely leave a void. Above all else, she treasured time spent with family, especially her grandchildren and her furry four legged companion, Bella.

Jackie is survived by her children; Tricia Patton, Jesse (Megan) Daugherty, Nicole (Ryan) Miller, Cody (Katie) Daugherty, Trinity Daugherty and Ryan Pinczer; grandchildren, Taylor, Alexis, Paige, Vanessa, Gavin, Vivian, Ashlyn, Jaden, Adysen, Jaxon and Cooper; sister, Brenda Pinczer; nephew, Toby Pinczer; niece, Shiloh Rustan; great niece, Izzy; along with many other loving relatives and many special friends.

Jackie was preceded in death by her loving husband of 38 years, Albert R. Daugherty; her parents, Marion and Rennis Pinczer and her sister, Marian Pinczer.

Visitation will be from 9:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m., Friday, May 17, 2019 at Hamilton’s near Highland Memory Gardens, 121 NW 60th Ave., Des Moines, Iowa. Graveside service will be held at11:30 a.m., at Highland Memory Gardens Cemetery following the visitation.
