Marilyn (Hopkins) Shilling, 80, passed away peacefully surrounded by her loving family on Sunday, April 28, 2019 at Northbrook Manor Care Center in Cedar Rapids, Iowa. Marilyn enjoyed camping, fishing, and weekly shopping trips with family. She had a passion for travel and enjoyed many trips. She liked bowling, playing volleyball, going on daily walks with her sister, and helping any neighbor who asked. Above all, she cherished every moment spent with her family and friends. She was always smiling and singing, and she never met a stranger.
