Nancy Steven

Nancy Marie Steven, 61, was born in Des Moines January 23, 1945 and passed away Tuesday, January 9, 2007 at Iowa Lutheran Hospital. Funeral services will be at 9am Saturday, January 13 at Hamilton’s Funeral Home, 605 Lyon St., with burial to follow at Sunset Memorial Gardens Cemetery.
Nancy is survived by her loving husband, Pete Steven; siblings, Jeanette Jennings, Raymond Brown, Dennis Brown, Danny Brown, Judy Ragan, Larry Brown, Linda Deaton, and Leroy Brown; step-son, Mike (Beth) Steven; step-granddaughters, Maribeth Ann and Michelle Marie Steven; and sister-in-law, Martha (Jack) Blackford, all of Des Moines; and numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, Leroy and Betty Brown.
The family will greet friends from 3-7pm Friday at the funeral home. Memorial contributions may be made to Wakonda Christian Church. Nancy is with God now, and can’t be hurt anymore.
