Caleb E. Patten

Caleb Patten, one year old son of Kaitlyn Buck and Jeff Patten, died of complications to Hypoplastic Left Heart Syndrome on December 24, 2008. His funeral service will be 2:00 p.m. Saturday, January 3, 2009 at Hamilton’s Altoona Funeral Home, 105 4th St. SW in Altoona.
Caleb was born October 26, 2008. He was born with a rare heart disease that would eventually require six open heart surgeries. He survived three of those surgeries, and you would have never known he was sick, even when he was in recovery at the hospital. He loved watching Elmo Live and SpongeBob; loved all of his animals, and giving kisses to anyone who came around him. His main goal was to brighten the day of everyone who came into his life.
Caleb is survived by his mommy and daddy Kaitlyn and Jeff; his grandparents: Michele Buck, and Bobbi Ofstein; his great grandparents: Orval Woosley, Sam Buck, and Dovid and Bracha Ofstein; and many aunts, uncles, cousins, other family, and many friends who loved him. He was preceded in death by his great grandparents: Shirly Woosley, and Pat Buck; his great uncle, DJ Ofstein; and his great great grandma, Janet Hudson.
The visitation will be from 6:00 – 9:00 p.m. Friday, January 2, 2009 at the funeral home. Memorial Contributions may be made to the family.
