I am so sorry to hear about Shannon. She was my very best friend from 4th through 7th grade. Even as kids, her big heart and love of animals were apparent. She was always so much fun and full of adventure. Thank you, Shannon, for introducing me to rock music and teaching me how to dance! Even though we drifted apart as we got older, we were always friendly and I loved dancing with her at our 10 year class reunion. When I announced my daughter's cancer diagnosis on Facebook last year, she was one of the first people to ask how she was doing and to offer tips on getting through treatment, even as she was fighting herself. I appreciated that a lot. I know she fought hard and wish the outcome would have been different. She was one of a kind and one of the good ones. I pray for comfort and peace for her family. You are in my thoughts.

Where God is, there is peace and comfort. I pray God continues to wrap His loving arms around the family during this difficult time. I'm so sorry for your loss.
