Service Details
Patricia Lea Sanders, age 75, passed away Monday, February 11, 2019. We find comfort in knowing that mom is with her Lord and Savior.
Pat was born October 25, 1943, in Des Moines, Iowa to William and Jean (Brown) Slagle. She lived every moment devoting herself to family, her loving husband of 57 years, and treasured grandchildren. Making scrapbooks of family and friends was her passion, along with QVC shopping each morning.
Pat is survived by her husband Don, daughters Diana (Todd) Norman and Dawn (Shannon) Sinnott, grandchildren Courtney, Tanner, Ryley and Nolan, sisters Marsha (Tony) and Delores, and brothers Danny (Judy) and Bill (Sharon).
She was preceded in death by her parents William and Jean Slagle, best friend and sister Jackie (Don), and dearly beloved Grandma Nan.
There will be a celebration of Pat’s life at Hamilton’s Funeral Home, 605 Lyon Street, Des Moines, IA on Thursday, February 14, 2019, from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m.
Memorial contributions may be directed to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital .
