Cheryl Rorebeck
February 09, 2019
Cheryl Yvonne Rorebeck of Norwalk, IA, passed away on Saturday February 9th, 2019 at age 62.
Cheryl was born on July 8, 1956 to the late Charles and Evelyn Dennis. Cheryl was a firecracker. Her quick wit and pranks always kept her family on their toes and constantly smiling, but she contrasted that with her enormous heart and deep love for her family.
She spent her life in the Des Moines area and is survived by her devoted husband, William Rorebeck; two sons and daughter, Matthew Rorebeck, Joshua Rorebeck and Brean Rorebeck; two daughters-in-law, Crystal Rorebeck and Leslie Rorebeck; her six grandchildren, Rilaya Rorebeck, Madyson Coulter, Hayden Rorebeck, Kyler Rorebeck, Allyson Rorebeck, and Brayden Rorebeck; as well as six sisters and three brothers.
The family will greet friends Wednesday, February 13, 2019 from 11 am-12 pm followed by a Celebration of Life at 12 pm at Hamilton’s Southtown Funeral Home, 5400 SW 9th, Des Moines, IA.
Memorial contributions may be made at the services or via a GoFundMe setup in Cheryl’s honor at: www.bit.ly/2UT265w.
A mother’s love is like a beacon, lighting up the future, but reflected also in the past, in the guise of fond memories, that will forever last.
